The 11DRES has a medium throat which provides control and focus of sound which helps in chamber, solo, and orchestral settings.  This model features a bronze brass detachable bell.  It is slightly more open playing than the 10DE version.  This horn features a Geyer style wrap with a more open style F branch which helps open up the sound.  An adjustable finger hook helps the performer be comfortable while performing.  This horn also features vintage style valve caps and dual water keys.

I am so happy with my Conn. Nothing else touches it; I know the Hoyer is "better" and more expensive but I'd take my instrument over it anyday because it's so comfortable to play. The Conn isn't a Porche like the Hoyer, it's a Lincoln meant for cruising comfortably. I definitely prefer this feel and overall it's done me great in my career!
