The new YHR-671D features a variety of exciting design changes for the advancing student or professional horn player while retaining Yamaha value, quality, and consistency. Through the Yamaha design philosophy of vertical integration, this professional model offers many of the same high end updates and innovations as the new Custom YHR-871D. The new YHR-671D incorporates modern features into a traditional horn design. A thicker rim wire and a gold-brass leadpipe combine to create a beautiful rich tone and consistent airflow that will provide greater sound character and encourage the best performance in any player. The Yamaha line of instruments gets better and better. Fairly soon I doubt they'll have much competition left because they listen to customer input and constantly improve their product lines. They also keep their pricing in line with a good conscience in regards to the consumer. I like that they avoid the price gouging that other manufacturers are known for. I love the instrument and the company, and haven't found anything to justify replacing it!
