If you're looking for a nice loud ride cymbal, I would say consider an S Ride. It has a good ping, especially with a big nylon tip. The bell sound is huge sounding even if you don't hit it hard. It has a great metal sound. And this cymbal doesn't have an annoying wash to it like other cymbals can. I would have given this 5 stars, but when you crash this ride it is thick sounding. So that is the one thing that could have been a little nicer.
