Yanagisawa has brought the instrument to the peak of its evolution with the Silver Series tenor saxophone. Solid silver gives this instrument incredible response and expressive range, as well as the ability to maintain its astonishingly clear, warm tonal center regardless of volume or pitch. Sure to become the standard in the industry.

My teacher has one of these (and a 9937 also) and loaned it to me for a couple days while my Selmer was in the shop. I will say that I'm selling my Selmer to buy one of these guys. Everything is just better; the tone, build quality, finish, and ESPECIALLY the intonation blow the Ref36 out of the water. Plus it seems to spend much less time in the shop for repairs than my current horn even though my teach runs this more days a month than I play mine. The better horn is obvious here.
