The Tama Drums HC103BW STAR Series cymbal boom stand features an Orbital Quick-Tite Cymbal Tilter, an Orbital Quick-Tite Boom Tilter, and double-braced hardware.

Star Boom Cymbal Stand features Glide-Tite Grip Joint; True-Sound Insulation Mute; Orbital Quick-Tite Cymbal Tilter; Orbital Quick-Tite Boom Tilter; and reversible Ring-True Cymbal Felts. Boom stand is also able to be utilized as a straight cymbal stand. The New Quick-Tite gearless Cymbal Tilter allows for infinite angle adjustment, and also allows a slight extension of the tiliter's length and reach without having to change the angle or height of the cymbal boom arm. With the Orbital Quick-Tite Boom Tilter, a single wing nut adjusts angle, length, and orientation of the boom arm in all directions. The Ring-True Cymbal Felts achieve maximum cymbal resonance with minimal contact pressure. These partially hollowed-out cymbal felts promote pure tone.

First, the drummer should be able to set up his/her instruments precisely.

STAR Hardware
achieves what was once impossible: Nearly infinite instrument
placement possibilities.

Secondly, drums and cymbals should not move when stressed by performance. We’ve challenged even our own assumptions to introduce hardware of unprecedented stability.

Building rugged hardware is one thing. But achieving ruggedness,
while enhancing resonance…is an engineering triumph.

A hybrid joint fitting that combines the acoustic and structural advantages of metal-to-metal,
with nylon’s smoother sliding quality.

Cymbals and tom stands absorb some of the instrument’s vibration. Minimizing these sound killing tendencies is a matter of isolating the instrument. All STAR series stands include these inner pipe mutes, allowing the instrument to sing purely
