The Blue Woodpecker Active Studio Ribbon Microphone is every bit as impressive in looks as it is in sound. With a hand-crafted pressure-gradient ribbon transducer at the core, the Woodpecker is sure to excel in capturing vocals and instruments with great dynamic range and high SPL handling. Custom designed, active Class-A electronics ensure a quiet performance with detailed audio and minimal noise. The figure-8 polar pattern provides added flexibility in capturing vocals, drums, percussion, guitars cabinets and any application where some natural space in the recording is desired. The Woodpecker is beautifully crafted in an exotic wood finish and is delivered with a shockmount and cherry wood box.
