An ideal practice companion

Nothing beats a high-powered bass rig - unless you're practicing in your apartment in the wee hours of the morning. The Ashdown After 8 bass combo packs solid tone, but without the window-shaking volume of larger amps.

Big tone in a small combo
With an 8" speaker driven by 20-watts of power, the Ashdown After 8 was obviously designed for practice and rehearsal. But there's great tone on tap here too, with extra sonic-sculpting available via Bass/Mid/Treble tone controls. And to add a bit of grit and excitement to your tone, there's a tube-emulated overdrive onboard too.

Great for recording
Don't think that a small amp like the Ashdown After 8 is only good for practice sessions - when you're recording in the studio, you don't need much more volume than you have right here. Whether you're mic'ing it up, or using the headphone output for direct recording, you can get a surprisingly full sound from this compact bass combo.
