Well suited for practice and ensemble and solo work, the sound hole and the solid Sitka top of the Solo Bass let the player feel and hear detailed, warm, bass timbres with all the Breedlove sustain and clarity. The side sound hole makes the Breedlove Solo Bass far more audible to the player without sacrificing any forward sound projection, while the proprietary Breedlove Bridge Truss delivers exceptional sustain and clarity by relieving stress on the instrument's top.

This is the bass I use for anything I don't want to haul a full upright on. It sounds great, it feels great, it's reliable, and the price is spot-on. I hope Breedlove does more in the bass business in the future, because they've gained a lifelong customer for anything acoustic-related I'll need!
