Cymbal Buying Guide at Cascio Interstate Music
This new 20” model is a smaller version of the popular 22” model launched two years ago and designed in conjunction with Kenny Washington. This cymbal has the same traditional K Constantinople hammering but with more pronounced lathe/tonal grooves that produce plenty of dark wash and sustain. Like its 22” counterpart, it also has 8 unique, smaller cluster hammer marks on top that are distinct and add just enough ‘dirt’ to the sound. A nice additional to the K Constantinople catalog.

This ride is awesome! It is perfect for smaller jazz ensembles. It has a really dark and smokey tone. I usually like 22" rides more than 20" rides, but with this ride, the smaller size really adds to the control and stick definition without losing the wash. This cymbal crashes very well. Like many thinner cymbals I have played, the bell isn't very loud, but that's OK with me. I love this ride when it's played with sticks that have a small round tip... SWEET!
