This toy keyboard is great for the grandkids or children in general. It gets their interest for music going, and it's great to see them learn songs together on it. It's also not very expensive, so if it manages to break I can buy another one. It also runs on batteries which is great!

This is a great buy for someone young who may be interested in playing keys/piano in the future. It's also a blast to play around with. Has drum sounds and other voices besides piano.
This mini keyboard is a toy, make no mistake, but what a toy it is. Battery powered fun to keep the kids (and adults) busy. Nice orange underside and sturdy plastic makes this an attractive buy at the sub $50 point. Favorite patch: violin.
Don't mistake this little Casio keyboard for a professional musical instrument; it is a toy. That said, there are some surprisingly interesting sounds that come out of this keyboard. It is a great first keyboard for a young child. There are obviously small speakers on the unit, but if you go to the trouble to run it through an amp or powered speakers, with maybe a few effects pedals in line, and you can make some great sounds for not a lot of dough. It uses batteries, or will work with an optional Casio power adapter.
