These are very lightweight dowel rods. You have to be careful with these, and if you play too hard you could break them. I snapped one dowel pretty fast because I was trying to get too much volume out of these. Ideally, you should have a couple options in your stick bag. This style will allow you to play very light if that is what you need though, so it is good to have this pair on hand.
