Promark OBD3 Optima Bass Drum Mallets were designed by Doug Bush and feature a uniquely contoured hickory handle with a special weight ring at the base of the felt head. This "weight ring" helps provide improved balance, increased head velocity, and enhanced sound projection. Hard felt elliptical-shaped heads produce a focused bass tone without denting the head. The OBD3 is best suited for 22-26" drums.
