Cymbal Buying Guide at Cascio Interstate Music
Introduced in 1971, Paiste 2002 was Paiste's top quality cymbal featuring sounds for the new electrified music styles. The original 2002 line became legendary, creating a rich heritage of jazz, rock, fusion and country. In more recent years, the 2002 line has been expanded to accommodate changing music trends.

Bright, warm, full, shimmering. Wide range, clean mix. Even, very responsive feel. Very versatile all-purpose crash. The definitive classic rock crash sound.

This Paiste 2002 has a massive sound! It has a really clean tone that fits perfect on a loud stage. I really like the pitch of this 22". Most crashes are higher pitched because they are small, but this has a darker pitch that I think goes better with the rest of the band. This works perfect when you are keeping a groove going, almost like a crash-ride cymbal. You can't beat the 2002 series - and this particular cymbal is no exception!
