The Pearl Travel Conga Stand is designed specifically with two things in mind: rock solid stability, and lightening fast set-ups and pack-ups. The stand includes a "Y" bracket that attaches to the bottom of your Travel Conga and mounts to the stand centered directly under the drum for maximum stability. The Travel Conga stand comes with a carrying bag that includes a pocket for the optional PPS50TC Bridge that connects two stands together to minimize creeping while performing.

I got the Conga first, and then the Tumba. I will probably get the Quinto at some later time. First 10+, is the ease of portability with them; they break down and fit into a standard trap case with no problem. The recommended stand is simple and effective, dedicated to each individual drum, and folds up like any cymbal stand. Keep in mind each drum usually takes a pounding, so individual stands are a plus there. No special case is necessary for transport. I used them in a rehearsal setting first, without mic's and they cut thru the sound beautifully. (Bass, Guitar(s), Keyboard, Drums, Vocals) Obviously all volume settings are reduced for rehearsal purposes. Keep in mind the drum set is the primary percussion instrument, and the Conga's secondary and supporting. (Not all songs require Conga's or percussion.) On Stage (both indoor & outdoor) the Conga's are miked and the sound man controls and shapes the sound as needed for the venue, so the argument of individual sound quality does not come into play. You can have a million dollar set up, but it does not matter once mic's are involved; it depends on the quality of the sound system and the experience of the sound man.(NOTE: don't use clamp on mic stand accessories, they pick up unwanted vibrations. Use an independent stand, one mic usually is enough.) Overall, an excellent set up which I highly recommend to anybody!
