I actually had to go the the store three times before I bought the guitar. I was looking for a backup guitar as the one I had was stolen out of my car (A**Ho**s). I was looking at $800-$1200 range and played about everything there was out there. Stopped by the store and played several others when the sales guy says try this one. It sounded great, but I was not convinced that a guitar this inexpensive could sound so good. Four weeks later I bought it. Well worth the money for the sound and play- ability. I am very happy and pick it up a lot over my other guitars. It is soft and smooth. Now the downside - the mic/amp sucks - it is all preset and there is only one setting that is even tolerable. But that one is pretty good. Whoever designed these must have been deaf. You cannot EQ the settings and it uses a 2032 (flat) instead of a 9v battery so you better be prepared if it goes out on you. not convenient if you already have other 9V equipment. No tuner - no biggie but it would be nice. If you like acoustic over amped it is something to consider. I am keeping mine.
