Just like the original, same components and housing, and made in the same factory. It?s also got the same great warm overdrive that made the original a valued collector?s item.

  • Still one of the best

The TS9 is still one of the best overdrive pedals available and "that tube screamer sound" is hard to find at a similar price. As a player of jazz, rock, and other styles, the versatility of this pedal is a major reason why I still value it after 10+ years pf use i.e., I have the option of turning up the gain slightly to add a touch of sustain to create a deeper tone for fusion or, if playing rock where an epic lead sound is needed, I can crank up the gain and instantly transport my sound to 70's stadium rock (play it with a touch of reverb and you're truly there!). Just a great overdrive pedal and perfect for anyone wanting to enhance their music without sacrificing tone.

The "early" history of Ibanez began in 1908 when the Hoshino company began as a sheet music store. The "modern" history of Ibanez includes their work with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Paul Gilbert for hard rock/instrumental guitars. Ibanez is also one of the top selling bass companies and offers an impressive line of jazz boxes.
