Noticeably louder than other ordinary single ply heads. Bright, crisp attack, slightly "darker" sound. Great when you need a little "extra" projection.

I tried this head in place of Remo Ambassador. I have used Remo coated on the snare drum for years. It feels and sounds great ! It is now the head on my choice on my snare. I use Attack Thin skin 2's on the toms and have for years. I may give these a try on the toms in the clear or coated version. I will be buying more of these! Can't beat the price at Cascio Interstate!
