Yamaha DXPIVSP DTXpress IV Special V2 Electronic Drum Set
An all-new set of voices makes this the best sounding DTXPRESS kit yet. The Special version shares the same module as the Standard, but has a larger snare pad and more cymbals with our real hi hat pad. With the new learning tools in the module you have the ideal electronic drum kit for practice, teaching, or gigging around town. The DTXPRESS IV Special Electronic Drum Set is a powerful new kit from Yamaha that incorporates the same technology that powers the Yamaha Motif synthesizers and as with the other DTXPRESS kits. The DTX-M Drum Module includes high-quality sounds sampled from top quality acoustic drum sets, with 427 drum and percussion voices and 22 keyboard voices with many of them being taken from the popular Motif synthesizers. The module features 50 factory and 20 user kits for you to design yourself. For practice purposes, the DTX-M has a Click feature with six programmed sounds and one user voice. The click can be subdivided and has memory for 30 preset tempo and pattern combinations. The Groove Check feature allows you to practice your time keeping skills with the click turning on and off on its own. The built-in sequencer has 63 preset and 20 user songs for you to build on your own.
The DTXPRESS IV Special comes with the tunable TP100 snare pad. This pad has a controller function for snare tension, pitch and tempo. Also included are three TP65 pads for your toms, a KP65 bass drum pad, the realistic RHH130 hi-hat pad with a HS650 hi-hat stand and one PCY130 mono crash cymbal pad. To complete the kit is two of the new PCY130SC cymbal pads. These new pads are 13" in diameter and are three-zone to allow for crash, ride and bell playing. The kit comes with the new RS85 rack with a CL940 clamp to mount the snare pad with optimum placement. The cables come in a snake and are individually labeled for easy set up and breakdown.
