The Fish Skin Tablatone frame drums are equipped with the Skyndeep Graphic drumhead featuring a lightly textured surface and P3 inlay ring. The Tablatone Frame Drum utilizes "loaded head" technology found in the Tabla drums of India. Skyndeep® drumheads, Acousticon® drum shells, and the unique Tablatone Dot deliver warm and focused fundamental tones and crisp edge tones.

Patented, ultra-light drum (only 5 lbs.!) and has a 23" tall synthetic shell with a 11 ½" diameter head.  Comes with a pre-tuned, removable synthetic head that also doubles as a frame drum.  Its stackable – making transport & storage easy. Made with an adjustable shoulder strap and protective nonslip rubber bottom.

The Kanjira is a traditional frame drum from southern India that is played with bendingpitch and split hand techniques. Amazing sounds and complex rhythms are possible from this rich little drum. Dimensions are 7 1/2 " x 2 1/4"

These frame drums have a hand selected buffalo head for an authentic sound that is both warm and powerful. The skin is pulled around the back and laced across the middle for a traditional yet adjustable grip. The frame is stable and lightweight premium fibreglass. Includes a leather padded wooden beater.
