Gibraltar snares are designed to fit many manufacturers' snare drums. They are made to fit snare drums ranging from 10" to 14" in diameter and are primarily used for Jazz, Rock, and concert performance applications, such as field marching corps or similar performance situations.

Since 1995, Fat Cat Snappy Snares wires have been engineered for high performance, superior sound and long life. Now made of 90% carbon steel wire, attached to stainless steel end plates for the finest quality. Comes with two pairs of simple nylon braided cords for attaching snare wires to the bottom of a snare drum. You also get two cords - one for each end of the drum.

Designed as a replacement for vintage 14" Rogers Dyna-Sonic snare drums, the Dyna-Sonic snare wire has 16 individual strands of premium-grade steel wire. The snares have an overall length of 13 1/4", and a strand length of 12 1/8" (from solder point to solder point).
