Features an aluminum shaft, strenghened by our white powder coating process which provides a longer life for the mallet and a soft, textured rubber grip. The ATA3 has a slightly larger acrylic head for a fuller sound and more attack. The ATA4 features a rubber head for warmer tones, when nylon is too hard and felt is too soft. This mallet measures 14 3/8" long, and has a 1 1/8" Rubber head.
