Introducing the 12480K 24” HH King Ride Cymbal, part of the new Big and Ugly Collection from Sabian.  These are fun-to-play Ride cymbals that are big, dark, and dynamic.  They offer so much complexity and versatility that you won’t ever want to stop playing them!

Goldilocks would love the King Ride − it’s the “just right” amount of dry, dark and wash. Powerful and sophisticated, it may be the most complex cymbal of the collection because depending how you strike it, it can be so many things.

Big & Ugly is a collection of unique Ride cymbals from Sabian. They are big, dark, loose and dynamic – but most importantly, they are huge fun to play. Although the collection contains cymbals that span multiple Sabian cymbal series, they are all united by their great complexity, versatility and distinctive appearance.

  • Huge fun to Play!
  • Powerful and sophisticated
  • Medium-Thin
  • The most complex cymbal in the Big and Ugly collection
  • Protected by SABIAN One-Year Warranty

Wow - I am so impressed with this HH King. Most 24" rides I have performed on in the past are too washy or too loud. This new 24" Sabian has the perfect amount of sustain and stick sound. It's an awesome jazz cymbal. It mixes perfect with the rest of the ensemble. Plus, I like every area of this cymbal - no weak spots on this. The bow sounds great with the stick tip or shoulder, the bell sounds full, and the edge crashes with power - really dark and shimmery. I haven't recorded with this yet, but I know this will sound fantastic in the studio, too. 5 stars for sure!
