After playing one of these for only a minute or so, I was sold. It has such a great sound and is super-versatile! It does what Sabian says it does, which is a lot - pretty much an all-in-one kind of cymbal. The bell has a nice thick tone and is strong enough for most situations. The bow has a really great stick sound - nice and woody stick definition with a underlying, controlled wash. The edge is very thin compared to most other 22" cymbals, so you can crash on this with no problem. This works perfectly for little pocket kit gigs when you're only bringing a pair of hi-hats and one other cymbal, because you can get so many sounds out of this thing. I'd say this cymbal is perfect for players that are looking to scale down their setup or if you just want a darker, versatile, crash-able ride cymbal.
