If you are looking to enter in to the double pedal arena, this is the one for you. Pearl nailed it with the Demonator line; sure there are more expensive pedals with more bells and whistles, but this one has everything you need including a long foot board! It's works like a dream right out of the box and has plenty of adjustment options to customize your feel. I've been playing for more years than I can count and have played several major brands of pedal (Tama, Axis, Yamaha, DW) over the years. Dare I say it's comparable to pedals that are more than twice the price? I dare. This pedal is smooth, quick, and provides enough flexibility to get the feel you are looking for. I play regularly and use the single and double versions of this pedal depending on my gig. The pedals are reliable, easy to transport, rock solid when playing, and are attractive to look at. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for their new pedal.
