The Gretsch Brooklyn Series Black Nickel over Brass snare drum is the latest addition to the Brooklyn snare drum series. The snare features our 6x14 classic brass knurled shell and is
plated in black nickel along with the lugs, Lightning throw-off, butt plate and Gretsch “302” 3mm/double-flanged hoops. Also included are 20-strand snare wires and Gretsch Permatone drum
heads. The brass shell resonates with smooth, musical tones and the 6x14 size gives this drum added versatility. The “302” hoops provide a timbre that is more open and ambient than traditional Gretsch die-cast hoops.
