Built with the hardworking pro in mind, the RG Premium is recognized as the ultimate workhorse guitar for the giging player. Whether wquipped with the new Tight-End R fixed bridge, or the Edge-Zero II tremolo with ZPS, Ibanez has engineered perfect tuning stability and playing comfort.

5pc Maple/Walnut Wizard Premium neck on RG Premium models is following the same playability and comfort on its Prestige counterpart.

Lower profile designed Tight-End R bridge features maximum playing comfort, long sustain & stable tuning. The Tight-End R Bridge integrates every aspect of the bridge design in rigidness and accracy.

Our luthiers’ insane attention to detail is evidenced by the Premium’s hand-rolled fret edges. This slow, demanding process makes for a smooth, fast playing neck.

The "early" history of Ibanez began in 1908 when the Hoshino company began as a sheet music store. The "modern" history of Ibanez includes their work with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Paul Gilbert for hard rock/instrumental guitars. Ibanez is also one of the top selling bass companies and offers an impressive line of jazz boxes.
