The VMI 103 has a great sound with lots of "fundamental" pitch in it. What does this mean? It means that it is going to have much more carrying power and projection than most horns its size. This is a true 4/4 tuba with smooth valve action and a conservative bore so that it will not take too much air to play it. The VMI 103 is more durable in construction without adding a lot of weight to the horn, and it plays in tune. A great horn at an affordable price that will easily work in your school program.
