The versatility of this stand is what makes it pretty unique. This is one of the only snare stands I have seen that can be used for playing seated or playing standing up. It seems to be durable and heavy enough, so you don't have to worry about it tipping when it is set up high. All of the nuts and bolts are smooth. Overall - a good deal!
