  • Great mallets for the price.

These mallets are a lot heavier in the front end than I thought they would be. They are very soft and the individual mallet hits are not very audible. I have always used soft marimba mallets and strangely indoor tenor mallets with felt heads for cymbal rolls. I always thought marimba mallets were way to light feeling and the tenor mallets weight was just right but the attack was a little to much. These sticks are a perfect meld of the two...weighty with a great soft attack. I highly recommend them.
