  • I'm sticking with it!

I like to sample many different kinds of sticks, I enjoy switching it up often. This also helps me figure out which sticks work best for my playing and style of music. I'm your average rock drummer, and for certain reasons, I always end up coming back to this stick. My favorite features would have to be the oak wood because it's more dense of a wood than hickory or maple, thus I feel I don't have to force volume out of the stick. It carries its weight. Second, it has a very short taper resulting in a slightly front-weighted feel. I find I like this feature because it provides a very good fulcrum spot on the the stick so I'm not holding the stick all the way back by the butt end to get power out of it. Neil Peart ftw!
