The drum department guys at the store recommened this as an easy and accurate tunning method, and they were absolutely right! Super easy to use, simple directions, easy to read dial. I used to struggle with tunning for years, but not any more. Thanks Cascio drum staff for the knowledge and another flawless recommendation. Keep it up.

This is perfect for gigging and recording drummers. It is more accurate than other tension gauges that I've tried. This dial usually identifies the problem if you're having trouble tuning a drum. It is great for a quick check after unpacking drums at a venue where you can't make a lot of noise tuning the drums. Also, if you usually use the same type of heads, you can put new heads on more quickly and accurately.
