These get steady after some use and the bounce vanishes after they have adjusted. We all know that the primary conga drum played should always be supported by the players legs and ankles when one plays from a seated position.
The most advantage to them is the being able to get bass tones from the other drums, weather playing with 2, 3 or 4 congas, the bass tones that one doesn't get when they are standing directly on the floor. Plus no hassling with bulky stands. Great for use in drum circles or just jamming with friends.

These work well if you want an easy way to set up your congas and want to carry around less equipment. They fit the bottom of the drums nicely. For more aggressive playing, these might not hold up as well because they are slightly less stable than other stands. However, for most players, these should do fine. It is definitely nice not having to carry around bulky conga stands.
