After cracking a couple cymbals and spending a lot of money to replace them, I thought I would give these a try. I was a little unsure at first, because the added movement took some getting used to. However, the slight extra motion was no problem after playing for a short time. With heavier cymbals, such as 18" and up, I would suggest the heavy spring, but for smaller cymbals, the medium weight spring works well.
