Not a spray! Contains no silicone. It's a liquid in an applicator. Use it on strings, fretboard, back of neck. Lets fingers slide freely, keeps strings clean, is good for wood.

Have used Fast Fret on my JazzMaster for many years and now on my American Strat as well. It does a great job of eliminating the squeek when sliding on your strings as well as improving speed when moving up and down the neck. It also helps tuning if you apply some to the nylon nut prior to tuning. Some guys apply it to the back of the neck as well but I haven't personally tried that, although it is safe for all woods and finishes. It's just that the back of the neck on my 45 year old Jazzmaster is well polished by now. I may try it on the back of the new Strat though.
