In the spirit of the original "Ringo Kit", Ludwig is proud to present the Liverpool 4 in Original Black Oyster Pearl finish. The Liverpool 4 hosts the configuration and 3-ply shell heard most on the timeless recordings of yesterday, and is the first Legacy kit to feature standard-sized Classic lugs and Ludwig's new Rail Consolette tom mount. The first 100 sets will feature Ludwig's 100th Anniversary badge on each drum, making them another benchmark in the classic Ludwig timeline. Liverpool 4 3-ply shells consist of a Poplar core layer surrounded by Maple, with 1-ply reinforcement rings.

All instruments in our catalogs and on our shopping site carry the manufacturers' warranties against defects in parts and workmanship. Should a defect occur within the manufacturer's warranty period, contact us
We will be glad to help facilitate the repair or replacement as specified by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will determine whether the defect is covered under their warranty; we do not make that determination.
Please note: U.S.-based manufacturers WILL NOT honor warranties for items sold and shipped outside the U.S. Also, if a school, school district, or board of education purchases an instrument and resells it to an individual, the manufacturer considers the warranty to be void. Warranties are extended only to the original purchaser!
All warranties, stated or implied are held with the product manufacturer and they vary from item to item. Consult the documentation that came with your product for details in addition to the information below.
Two brothers, William F. and Theo Ludwig, developed a bass drum pedal in 1909 that could play fast, forming "Ludwig and Ludwig." Ringo Starr’s use of a Ludwig drumset in the 60’s made the brand well- known. Today, the "Most Famous Name On Drums and Percussion" offers a full line of drumsets, concert & marching drums, plus quality hardware.
